Does anybody know what kind of bird this is? My answer is the kind that flies although that might be somewhat questionable with this chunky-butt.

It is The CubanFatso bird!!–travels from Cuba to Miami, after a few weeks of Pan cubano , Pastelitos, Lechon and Flan– Travels to Georgia for the Winter.
During spring time returns to Cuba to mate.
Love,

my money is on a fluffed up Eastern Wood PeeWee

I’m just say’n.
hmm…maybe the Peewee. Anyway, it tickled me!
OK Another guess . . . after further consideration and searching . . . Easter Wood Pewee (no, really!)
Scroll down the page for the pic – looks just like yours.

Looks fluffy to me, not fat. From what i’ve heard, a fat bird is a dead bird, predatorially speaking . . .
The Whatbird.com search engine tells me it could be a Least Flycatcher!

I guess, Inge, but it’s pretty unseasonally warm here. The bluebirds and cardinals don’t fluff up like that, and while robin’s are kinda chesty, not quite like this, either.
Interesting!
Isn’t it just a cold bird? We have huge blackbirds here during winter. They try to conserve heat by expanding their feathers.
I don’t know what kind of bird it is. It’s not like the birds we have here.
