finding inspiration in plurkville

Lisa Hendey’s recent plurk about “old lady syndrome” and a sore knee after exercising had me laughing. Forget the aches and pains — I’ve lived with those for a while. I mean, it takes my body about 5 minutes to warm up after I get out of bed. The effort alone of trying to sit up is an ordeal in itself. To watch me stumble across the bedroom floor as I attempt to straighten up is like looking at one of those posters of evolution. Still, it beats what’s going on in my brain, which evidently is so overcharged and overfull that anything triggers a short circuit.

for Linda, anything for a laugh

I snatched this right off the Curt Jester’s blog—-sorry Jeff, for being such a hacker. You should read his stuff, anyway. Go. Read. The womynpriests are waiting.

99! 99! 99!

So my brave warrior husband achieved skill level 99 in something or other–was it hit points? Whatever. It’s taken him a long time to get there, and he’s proud of his achievement, and we think it’s cool, too.

I can draw, too.

I just can’t make a living at it.

Luis is a bit hard on himself as he adds a different type of illustration on his blog this week.

Silly boy–anything that isn’t a stick figure is art.
