it is 500 degrees in Hell, sometimes known as Atlanta in the summer. I am dressed all in black for the commencement.
it’s ELVIS. OMG! this guy’s car is completely covered in sequins–no lie. i kept trying to get up next to him because HE HAD BIG ELVIS HAIR! It takes all kinds, really.
we still don’t know how to dress ourselves
I stopped for a strawberry shake. i needed some consolation for wearing all black in 500 degrees.
the birthday girl took my front seat and I had to crowd in the back with the peons
yummy stuff. really. it’s good. mine’s on the left.
more yummies.
this is the upholstery behind the driver’s seat. yeah. it’s what I looked at all afternoon.
remember the 500 degrees? yeah. suki has the right idea laying out on cold tile.
winding down at the end of the day–caught fr. bill kessler’s recording LIVE and chatted with the roadies.
So that’s it. After quite a hiatus, it’s good to be back!
Yay! Another 12 of 12er in ATL. Enjoyed your pictures, and congratulations on your graduation.
Being hot is just a state of mind. If you let the heat bother you, it will. If you don’t let it bother you, it won’t. It’s as simple as that.
Nice photos and congrats on your commencement.
You’d think Georgians used to hot summers would know to avoid black in summer and go for white or something! Poor you .
But yay for yummy stuff and drinks! And welcome back to 12 – you were missed!
that does sound hot to be wearing black!
The heat in ATL has been horrible lately!
Black in those temperatures? Now that is just cruel! Well done for sticking with it. No pun intended 🙂
congrats on the graduation but ick black graduation gowns in the heat of atlanta summer. please tell me the ceremony was inside…
